I think everyone of us still remember the recent operation
conducted by our police guys for about 2 months period with purpose to wipe all
gangsterism activities in this country. For some moment, I personally thought
our police guys actually doing something that is really good for our community.
However, some issues were raised during this operation which related to
humanity and racism.
These cops go out and hunt few gang members as though they
were going to buy some groceries. Every time a guy shot down, the report will
say that guy shoots at the cops and the police put him down to guard their
life. The best part is they will find a gun or weapon with him or in the house
they ambushed. Wow. It just like I’m a watching police movie. This is country
that did not allow you to have your own weapon you guys. You cannot walk around
having a gun with you. It is not about the law did not allowed, it is because
the people will create a chaos if they saw anyone walking with a weapon. Plus, there are no silencer attached to the
pistols. Obviously, there wasn’t a counter back shooting because nobody heard
any gunshot sound from beginning.
The point is… our police guys do knew well about these
gangsterism activities from very first. Somehow, they let these gangsters to do
their business with under supervision of a policeman. For that purpose, the
gang leader will give some amount of $$ to the police guy so that the police
will not question their wrongdoings. This is true story that happen in capital
city where police guys ‘entrusted’ gangsters to keep harmony of the area. It is
like the police will acknowledge only one group for an area that gangster will ‘take
care’ the people within their area. These gangsters will control the
development in the area where new property developers required some amount of
protection money so that their construction will not be disturbed. Moreover,
where place will have its own ‘black area’ where all the illegal business will
took place. The gangster will run this kind of business with the direction of
the gang leader.

As every business, after some time, the owner will have some
greedy though where they want larger area to be in control so that they earn
more power and income. These guys are not ordinary businessman where they deal
to buy more property to increase their business. They need to take over others
business to be in control of larger area. These will lead to two gang leaders
to have table talk at first. Obviously there are not going to be a president
and vice president from this table talk. Firstly, they will talk so that one of
them back off with some amount of money which will never going to happen. This
table talk will lead to gang fight and finally end up with one gang leader
death. Since the leader is death, the entire group will be hunt down or chased
off from the area forever.
The new gang leader with two areas in control will be more
arrogant than before because now he dealing two area’s police guys. If before
this he go meet the police to give the bribe money, now he will demand the
police to meet him to take the bribe money. The reason is now he has two places
to take care of and do not have time to visit police station. Plus, he needs to
increase his image among the subordinate so that nobody will go against him. Now
police guys without any shame will pay a visit to take the money and will give
only one advise, ‘Do not disturb the public’.
After some time, the gang leader will have quite large influence
in some quite large area. Aside, he will have many subordinates and each of the
subordinate will have some numbers underling aka blind followers. This blind followers
will thought the one they following is the gang leader without having any clue
that his is just subordinate to main leader. Worse case is there might be more
than two or three layers of subordinates depending on how powerful the leader
is. The sad part is these blind followers are usually teen who joined just for
the sake show off. Of course, eventually he will involve in those illegal
businesses and earn some amount of money.
The reality is nobody will acknowledge these blind followers
as gangsters especially the public because of their very low profile. These
young bloods blind followers purposely will do something crazy to the public
just to prove that they are also have powers in the area. When this situation
occurs, the police top guy will have a table talk with top gang leader.
Normally the decision is the police allowed to kill the blind followers and
relate them with some other groups. With this decision, current leader name
will maintain and other gang name will be jeopardized. In some case, the group
might not even exist and the newly enter police officers will form a team to
find out none exist group.
The point is, gangsterisme in this country is a well organized
underground politics. These gangster will continue their illegal business all
the time with support from our every own police guys. At the end, the blind
followers need to sacrifice their lives for nothing. Guys out there, please do
not think that you can become a gang leader starting from blind follower. It
simply never going happen and even your immediately leader will not let it
happen. Please do not waste your life just for the sake unknown so called
leader. Go for a better life and die with dignity and pride. Let at least your
family continue praise your good deed even after you gone from this world.
